KBG Design Inc. is a full-service Architectural Interior Design firm located in the South Bay Area, California - specifically San Jose, nestled right in heart of Almaden Valley.
We specialize in transforming homes both inside and out. Our designs are created to be timeless, both in appearance and in everyday livability.
Our custom design solutions cover everything from architectural planning + design to floor plan reconfiguration, renovations, and new construction. We handle permit drawings, work alongside structural engineers, source all home-related materials, craft custom furnishings, and provide interior styling—taking care of every detail in between.
Meet Katelyn
Katelyn, a California Bay Area native, grew up in the Almaden neighborhood of South San Jose and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from the Interior Design Institute in Newport Beach. After nearly a decade working with high-end boutique design firms in South Orange County, she returned to her hometown of San Jose to focus on family and grow her design brand.
Katelyn’s passion for interior design starts with building a transparent, genuine relationship with her clients. She takes the time to understand how they truly live—digging into the details that make their lifestyle unique. By connecting on a personal level, she creates spaces where her clients can flourish and make lasting memories for years to come.
Having navigated major remodels herself while raising a young family, Katelyn deeply empathizes with the challenges her clients face. She actively listens to their needs and goes the extra mile to bring their vision to life. It's one thing to design a beautiful space on paper, but something entirely different to ensure these designs are seamlessly implemented in real-life.
